Handcrafts which are produced by Lenten tribe people
in Laos
In 2002, Yukiko Tani established H.P.E (Handcraft Promotion Enterprise) and she has been collaborating with Lenten tribe people in order to produce handcrafts such as coasters, pencil case, wrapping cloth and so on. The whole producing process is done by hand:spinning the yarns, natural dyeing from plants, weaving fabric and hand-stitching designs. Since they are all hand-made, None of the products are the same. Each of them is like an small art piece and full of Lenten people's ideas and imagination. Unique and playful designs of Lenten will give nice accents in your daily life.
