Fancy Cup is designed by Masahiro Mori. It was marketed as very high-quality design in 1970.

Its charm lies in the beauty of thin and light porcelaine, the special smoothness and gloss of white porcelaine, and its unique shape.

Each one of the six models of Fancy Cup is different so that for example a visually impaired person can recognise the cup by its shape. The design of the cups also make them easier to hold.

In recent years Fancy Cup has become a universal design object.

Fancy Cup is meant for cold drinks, such as water or juice, because the porcelaine is thin.
